Subscriptions open up a whole new world of possibilities...

Cartooga's Subscriptions & Split Payments feature might get you thinking about your business in ways you never did before.  To put it simply, this feature lets you sell subscription-based products where your customers are re-billed at a specified interval.  This feature can operate two ways - a basic "just bill em" mode, where every X days your client is billed a predetermined amount and no further action takes place, or a more advanced mode where every billing interval results in a queued order so you can ship them a product.

This feature lets you do everything from a basic service to a full blown product club, where their subscription triggers the shipment of an item every month.

But don't worry, it's not complicated - if you are doing a product-based subscription, they show up as regular orders in your system every time the subscription is billed successfully.

Split Payments

Want to split a high-ticket item up into multiple payments?  Cartooga lets you do it.  Now instead of requiring your customers to pony up $1,000 for that big item, you can charge them $250 today and 3 more payments of $250.  The split-payment feature uses the same programming as the subscription module, the only difference is that it lets you specify an automatic end to the subscription.  Keep in mind that there is some risk to you that the customer's credit card will never be approved for subsequent payments, so consider carefully whether you want to offer this... but if you do, the option is there.
