Cartooga Box

Features: Quote Management

Cartooga is more than just a shopping cart - it's also an active quoting system.

Let customers request a quote.

If you offer bulk pricing, deal primarily with wholesalers, or just don't even want to actually sell online but still want to web-enable your business, our Request for Quote system might help bridge the gap.

Upload your products from Excel, or enter them manually in the Store Manager you'll notice a setting called "Allow In Quote" (this is next to "Allow In Cart").  If set to yes, a button appears on the product page where customers can request a quote.  They're required to register, ensuring you have all of their contact information, and can then submit their request for a quote on a product, along with notes and anything else they want to enter.

You'll receive instant notification by e-mail that a quote request has been received, and can follow up with your customer however you're doing this already.  Or, you can do it our way (below)...

Turn the quote into an invoice.

Yep, it does that too.  When a quote request is received, you can add and remove products from the quote, modify prices and quantities, lock a shipping address and rate, and turn the quote into an unpaid order in the system.  The customer gets an e-mail notifying them their quote has been reviewed and can log back into the site to pay the invoice or cancel it.  Once paid, it becomes a normal order just like when someone adds something to their cart and buys it.
